CUA HOI BEACH

Cua Hoi is a beach in Nghe An province located close to the Lam River, about 6 km from Cua Lo beach to the south, which is the natural boundary of two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Cua Hoi is the common name of Nghi Hai, Nghi Hoa and Nghi Xuan wards - located at the southernmost point of Cua Lo town. For tourists from afar, Vinh city is the easiest way to go to Cua Hoi beach.

From Vinh city center, about 10 km down Vinh - Cua Hoi street. If you are in the area of Ben Thuy bridge, you can follow the ecological road flowing along Lam River to avoid entering Vinh city. From Ben Thuy, Sinh Thai road runs along the Lam River very lyrically, through peaceful villages about 16-17 km to Cua Hoi beach. Depending on the starting point, you should choose the most suitable way to travel. Specifically, for those in the North, you should go in the third direction from Cua Lo, and for those in the South, you can go in two remaining ways. 

Cua Hoi beach is quite wild, peaceful and has a shallow coastline, fresh surrounding natural scenery that has not been exploited much. In front of Cua Hoi beach, there is Song Ngu island like two giant natural walls next to each other, blocking strong waves and strong winds, bringing tranquility to this sea. On weekdays, the beach is clear and no one swims. There were only a few women plying their trade with clams, which looked like small white dots in the middle of the sea. On the beach, there are a few fishermen setting up their nets to catch fish, long shadows cast on the beach. Cua Hoi beach is so peaceful.

Cua Hoi is not too noisy and bustling like Cua Lo but possesses pristine beauty, clear blue sea and peaceful scenery worthy of a sea paradise for you to relax in hot summer days. Traveling to Cua Hoi beach, the weather is often hot, so you should bring the necessary beach supplies such as: long-sleeved clothes, maxi skirts, flip flops, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses...

Like many other beaches, Cua Hoi beach - Nghe An  province has a rich and fresh source of seafood. Visitors will enjoy dishes made from squid, crabs, fish, shrimp, snails and especially the famous jumping squid. The seafood dishes are very delicious with the flavor imbued with the culinary culture of the people of Nghe An. The dishes seem simple, but it contains a lot of love from the people here. You don't have to go far, right next to the beach, there is a row of popular restaurants of local people. You will find absolutely fresh sea food at very affordable prices. Nghe An people still have a saying "eat at Cua Hoi - wade at Cua Lo" meaning that Cua Hoi has many sea specialties. Indeed, Cua Hoi beach tourism is "casting spells" on many distant travelers.
