Yen Luong temple, Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An province is an ancient temple built by the people in the Le Dynasty at the end of the 16th century, to worship the Four Female Saints, the god of village, God Fish, and Holy Mountain Saint of Lan Chau Island and worship Buddha of three times. The temple was decided by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to be recognized as a provincial historical relic in 2012.

Offerings at the temple in addition to incense, lanterns, tea and fruits, there is also a three-birth feast nominated by the village for the ages of the zodiac animals, families take turns to make and sacrifice on 16th June, and a must-have item is "tower shaped sticky rice cake" during this holiday.

The purpose of organizing the "Phuc Luc Ngot" Festival is to express the deep gratitude of today's generation for the Cultural Heritage left by their forefathers; The organization of the festival also aims to honor, introduce and promote the typical and unique cultural values of fishermen in the sea and the potentials of Cua Lo town to domestic and international friends.

          Phuc Luc Ngoat festival takes place every year according to the earnest wishes of the people in the coastal area, is the spiritual fulcrum of many fishermen in the region, praying for each trip to the sea to be calm and peaceful, the boats with full of fish and shrimp. … and also an opportunity to uphold the spirit of solidarity, connect the community, remember the great merits of our ancestors, contribute to preserving traditional values, educate patriotism and chivalry, community solidarity for the young generation.
