Here, he visited kindergartens, livestock farms, and gave gifts to some people and talked and met intimately with a large number of officials and people at Vinh Thanh Primary School, praising achievements in planting trees, livestock, improving agricultural tools, making irrigation, fertilizer, sanitation, disease prevention, building cooperatives....

His sentiments and precious advices had been engraved by the cadres and people of Yen Thanh district in general and Vinh Thanh commune in particular, dwhich became a guideline and a strong source of motivation for the Party Committee and the People of Yen Thanh district and Vinh Thanh commune overcoming all difficulties and challenges, successfully completing their political tasks, contributing to the whole country to beautify the glorious pages of the nation's history.

The place where Uncle Ho stood and talked with the people of Vinh Thanh commune was a grandstand built in a field style at Vinh Thanh primary school in Vinh Thanh commune. Here, Vinh Thanh Commune People's Committee placed a stele that reads: "In the morning of December 10, 1962, on the occasion of his second visit to his homeland, President Ho Chi Minh visited Vinh Thanh Cooperative. At the talk with officials and people of Vinh Thanh commune and Yen Thanh district at Vinh Thanh primary school, he mentioned all aspects of the commune's activities. He advised: “… Being a cooperative means we focus our offensive forces on poverty and backwardness, close solidarity, good production, high income, good hygiene, study hard, and constantly increasing life …”.

The old school with earthen walls and thatched roofs has now given way to a spacious, well-equipped building. The school is recognized as a cultural unit in the emulation of good learning and good teaching.

In order to save the memorabilia and memorable images on December 10, 1961, the government and people of Yen Thanh district in general, and Vinh Thanh commune in particular have built this place into a souvenir area displaying documents, artifacts and pictures about Uncle Ho and his hometown Yen Thanh, turning this place into an educational destination for the younger generations about patriotic and labor-loving traditions, actively contributing to the construction of the homeland. At the same time, in the future, it is hoped that Vinh Thanh Primary School will become an important destination in tourism in Yen Thanh district.
