Bao Lam Pagoda Bao Lam Pagoda located in Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province is one of the ancient pagodas on Nghe An land. According to historical documents and local people, the pagoda has existed since the Ly dynasty; based on the records on the epitaphs still preserved at this Buddhist relic, the pagoda  was repaired by Mr. Phan Uc in the Later Le Dynasty, later, Mr. Phan Kim (Principal of the Le Dynasty) continued to repair; Thus, the time to repair Bao Lam Pagoda may be before the Later Le Dynasty;  After the restoration in the Later Le Dynasty, this relic was restored in turn at different times, typically: the 1st year of Thieu Tri (1841), the 5th year of Thieu Tri (1844), in 2001. Bao Lam Pagoda is considered one of the ancient architectural works that still preserve many precious and valuable artifacts of history and culture associated with the spiritual and cultural activities of the people of Nghe An. Two stone steles currently located at the temple are carved in kanji completely by talented human hands. Bao Lam Pagoda

Bao Lam Pagoda located in Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province is one of the ancient pagodas on Nghe An land.

According to Non Thich Nu Hue Hieu - a monk at Bao Lam Pagoda said that: this place used to store worshiping statues and worshiping objects of more than 80 worship establishments in Yen Thanh district, the number of worshiping statues and worshiping objects is very large, sometimes up to more than 100 statues and many other artifacts such as stone statues, bronze bells, worshiping objects of traditional religious relics.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 2629 and Decision 2630 QDBVHTT-DL recognizing Bao Lam Pagoda as a national historical architectural and artistic relic on July 18, 2012.
