Bao Nham Church and Bao Nham stalactite Bao Nham Church is located in Bao Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, close to National Highway 7A, about 50 km north of Vinh City. From Dien Chau town along National Highway 7A to Bao Thanh commune, turn right, visitors will see firsthand the large church built entirely of stone from the 17th  century. It was officially started construction in 1888, and Bao Nham Church was completed in 1904. About 200m from Bao Thanh - Yen Thanh stone church is Len Da (stalactite) area with cave lines from the foot to the top forming an interesting landscape area, a beautiful landscape associated with ancient stories in religious beliefs of the people of Bao Nham parish. Using the natural beauty, the parishioners and the parish priest built a terraced path to the top, two sides arranged clusters of statues to form a unique sightseeing and pilgrimage route in the quiet countryside. From the top of the rock, visitors can look out in four directions, witness firsthand the rich beauty of the villages of Yen Thanh district. View more
