King Ho temple festival in Ngoc Son Commune, Quynh Luu District King Ho temple festival is held at Ancestor temple of Ho family clan in Vietnam (Ho Hung Dat) in Ngoc Son commune, Quynh Luu district. In the past, the festival was held on 12 March of the annual lunar calendar, the great festival was once every 3 years, lasting from 03 to 05 days, which was alternately organized by 05 villages in Bao Dot commune (Truong Hau, Yen Chu, Trung Lap, Ngoc Chi, Ngoc Diem villages). King Ho temple has 300 acres of land, divided among 5 villages for plowing, harvesting and organizing festivals. The villages go to King Ho temple to make sacrifices, process the gods through 05 villages, the foundation well  in the middle of the field, and then return to the temple. In addition to the ceremony, the festival took place excitingly with many folk games such as human chess, playing cards, swinging, wrestling, cock fighting, Cheo performance,… Currently, after the temple has been restored (it was completed from 2005 to 2016), the festival is organized by the local government in collaboration with the descendants of the Ho family clan on the occasion of the Spring Festival from ... Currently, after the temple has been restored (it was completed from 2005 to 2016), the festival is organized by the local government in collaboration with the descendants of the Ho family clan on the occasion of the Spring Festival from 10 to 11 January every year, it also includes 2 parts: The ceremony takes place solemnly with the reporting ceremony, sacrificial ceremony and thanksgiving ceremony..

This is an opportunity for descendants of the Ho family clan in all parts of the country to tighten the spirit of community solidarity; contribute to educating the traditions and principle of "drinking water, think of its source", arousing pride and love for the family clan, homeland and country, and raising the sense of protection and promotion of cultural heritage values for generations of descendants./.
