LOTUS (SEN) VILLAGE BEAUTY CONTEST

Lotus (Sen) Village Beauty Contest is within the framework of the Lotus Village Festival activities to celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19)

The contest has many different names depending on the theme each year such as "Beauty of Lotus (Sen) Village", "Beauty of Lotus (Sen) Village Festival", "Lotus flavor of Nghe An" held at Kim Lien Special National Monument, Nam Dan district, which gathered dozens of candidates from districts, cities and towns in the province.

The contest aims to honor the beauty of the Nghe An girl, preserve the good identity values ​​and absorb the quintessence of modern culture. Candidates participating in the contest must perform two to three contests (depending on each year), in which the (long-dress) Ao Dai contest is available every year. After going through the preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee will choose excellent contestant to compete and perform in the final round.

The final round is usually held on the closing day of the Lotus (Sen) Village Festival, attracting thousands of spectators to watch and cheer. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will award the first, second and third prizes to the contestants and some other extra prizes.

In recent years, due to the Covid epidemic, the Lotus (Sen) Village Beauty contest was interrupted, until 2022 it will continue to be held. This is a meaningful cultural activity, associated with activities to celebrate Uncle Ho's birthday, so it has a great influence on the media as well as the attention of a large number of people inside and outside the province
