HONG LONG TEMPLE (NHAN THAP TEMPLE) Nhan Thap temple (also known as Hong Long temple) in Hong Long commune, Nam Dan district appeared from the Ly Dynasty, which was greatly restored in the Nguyen Dynasty to commemorate Ly Nhat Quang (the eighth son of King Ly Thai To). Nhan Thap temple had the architecture of 2 worshiping halls and 1 back space arranged in the shape of the word "Dinh". At that time, due to the lax management, many uprisings in Nghe An were rebellious in nature, causing trouble for the people, and the imperial court had to put down many rebellions. In 1041, Ly Nhat Quang was sent to be a district chief in Nghe An, thanking to his intelligence, he proposed many measures to manage society, promulgated many policies for people's welfare, attaching great importance to economic development, encourage and guide people to expand their careers, build dikes against floods, etc. to exploit all potentials of the land of Nghe An.
