Temple Cuong Beauty Contest

Cuong Temple Beauty Contest is within the framework of Cuong Temple Festival activities in Dien An commune, Dien Chau district, taking place from February 14^th -:- 15^th of the lunar calendar.

The contest is held at Temple Cuong National Monument, with many different names depending on the theme each year such as "Elegant Youth", "Cuong Temple Beauty", "Cuong Temple Festival Beauty", gathered dozens of candidates from communes and towns in the area.

With the meaning of honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women, the contest is an opportunity for female contestants to affirm the beauty of their appearance as well as their soul to a large number of people in the coastal area of Dien Chau. This is also an opportunity for union members and young people to improve their understanding of the nation's history and traditions, cultural behavior and actively participate in social activities, contributing to building the beauty of Morality - Wisdom - Fitness - Fine art of youth in the trend of integration. 

 After the preliminary round, the selected contestants will advance to the final round. Here, they have to go through 3 parts, including: performance of Traditional Ao Dai (long-dress), evening dress, and talent contest, thereby selecting 5 contestants to enter the behavioral round. The final round is usually held on the closing day of Cuong Temple Festival, attracting thousands of spectators to watch and cheer. Organizers will award the First, Second, and Third Prizes and some additional prizes.

This is a meaningful cultural activity associated with Cuong Temple festival, so it not only receives the attention of people in Dien Chau district but also attracts a large number of people inside and outside the province to participate.
