NGHE AN CULINARY CULTURE FESTIVAL Nghe An Culinary Culture Festival is one of the series of events that contributes to enhance culinary culture of the locality, in order to honor the outstanding cultural values from the dishes that captivate visitors, promote the unique features, quintessence of typical regional culinary culture of Nghe An. The land area of Hong Mountain and Lam River is a land area with harsh natural conditions. But perhaps that's why the people here soon formed their own bravery and personality. Accordingly, the culinary culture also has characteristics with the style of the Nghe An people who live a simple, industrious, hard-working life. And, the cuisine is also famous not because of the luxurious dishes, but because of the daily rustic dishes such as fish sauce plates, a bowl of Solanum macrocarpon, Cayratia trifolia; such as sour bamboo shoots with green tea water, sweet potatoes, green tea water, fish cooked with star fruit, sea fish cooked with pickles, goby braised with pepper, Giant catfish braised with fat, rich in homeland flavor. Nghe An Culinary Culture Festival is one of the series of events that contributes to enhance culinary culture of the locality, in order to honor the outstanding cultural values from the dishes that captivate visitors, promote the unique features, quintessence of typical regional culinary culture of Nghe An.

The land area of Hong Mountain and Lam River is a land area with harsh natural conditions. But perhaps that's why the people here soon formed their own bravery and personality. This is an opportunity for organizations, individuals, business units of restaurants, hotels, and food service establishments in the province in general and Vinh City and the surrounding areas in particular to exchange and learn from experiences, thereby improving service quality. Combining the display of traditional cuisine, agricultural products, local plants and animals in association with the promotion of famous scenic spots, historical and cultural relics of Nghe An.

With the important role of culinary culture in tourism development, Nghe An promoted and will further promote the organization of culinary festivals, culinary promotion events inside and outside of the province, in order to create images of featured products; contributing to create more places to provide culinary cultural materials for tourists and to promote the land and people of Nghe An.
