Combined sacrifice ceremony at Truong Dang Cong lineage hall in Dien Ky commune is a cultural activity to pay tribute to ancestors, demonstrating the principle of "drinking water, think of its source", "Humans are born by the ancestors". A special thing is that this ceremony is to pay tribute to the ancestors of two Truong Cong Quang and Dang Phuc Thiem family clans, who have stood shoulder to shoulder in the process of reclamation and village establishment.

The combined sacrifice ceremony takes place on 14^th and 15^th November at the lunar calendar. Before preparing the sacrifice ceremony, representatives of the descendants of the family clan went to the graves of two men (Mr. Truong Cong Quang's grave in Ma My, hamlet 5 and Dang Phuc Thiem's grave in Ma Pheo, hamlet 5) to burn incense and invite them to attend the ceremony. At the Great Sacrifice ceremony that took place at noon on 15^th November at the lunar calendar, in addition to the offerings of the 23 branches, a set of chicken sticky rice for each branch also had offerings from the descendants of the Dang family clan.

In addition to the participation of the descendants of the Truong family clan, the combined sacrifice ceremony also had the participation of the descendants of the Dang family clan. This is a special thing, rarely seen in their lineage halles in Nghe An province.

The rituals taking place at the combined sacrifice ceremony are not only a tool to connect descendants with ancestors, showing gratitude and respect, but also reflect the unique customs and practices of two family clans in particular and of Dien Ky commune in general, passed down through many generations, contributing to preserving and thickening the cultural identity, especially the spiritual culture of Dien Chau district./
