OFFICE AREA OF PU MAT NATIONAL PARK

Office Area of Pu Mat National Park  is located in Tien Thanh village, Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district. It was built on the basis of Decision No. 5028/QD-UB dated December 6, 1997 of People's Committee of Nghe An province approving the construction planning of administrative subdivisions of Pu Mat Nature Reserve.

Office Area of Pu Mat National Park was recognized by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee as a provincial tourist destination according to Decision No. 416/QD-UBND dated February 14, 2019.

Office Area is a place for tourists to register to visit and find out general information about the Park. This is identified as an important destination in the travelling schedule of tourists. Through sightseeing activities, visitors have the opportunity to learn information about Pu Mat National Park - Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve.

In the office area, there is general information about culture, people, natural resources, biodiversity resources; information about local tourism products and services and Pu Mat National Park provides relevant information to serve the next journey when participating in ecotourism activities at the Park. In the office area, there are a number of points to serve the needs of visitors to visit, research and find out information such as: Open Nature - Culture Museum of  Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve; Wildlife Rescue Center (rescuing animals such as monkeys, turtles, pangolins...); Peripheral botanical garden (growing orchids...). The office is one of two locations in the country that can rescue pangolins; diverse in species, with 2,500 species of plants and nearly 1,000 species of animals; is one of the places where rare species of Saola are discovered. Next to the open-space nature museum displays and recreates the tools and items of the Thai people for hunting. Annually, the office area welcomes 1,500 tourists to visit.
