Tran Hung Dao Temple’s Festival The festival of Tran Hung Dao Temple, also known as the Saint Tran Festival, takes place at Tran Hung Dao temple in Doi Cung ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province. The festival takes place on the right day of the death of Saint, on August 20th of the lunar calendar, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over the country. Previously, the festival took place on a large scale, including both the ceremony and the festival. In the festival, the most exciting activity is the organization of Cheo singing (Cheo is a traditional Vietnamese theatrical art form), attracting a large number of people in the region and surrounding areas to attend. The festival of Tran Hung Dao Temple, also known as the Saint Tran Festival, takes place at Tran Hung Dao temple in Doi Cung ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province. The festival takes place on the right day of the death of Saint, on August 20th of the lunar calendar, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over the country.

Previously, the festival took place on a large scale, including both the ceremony and the festival.           These days, pupils from all over the country also come to the temple to perform the Hau Dong ceremony (is a ritual in folk and religious belief activities to worship the mother goddess Dao Mau of the Shaman religion of many ethnic groups, including Vietnamese folk beliefs), contributing to making the Tran Hung Dao temple festival more solemn and bustling./.
