FISHERMAN'S PRAYING CEREMONY           Fisherman's praying festival is held on 12 and 13 January in Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu district). This is a traditional festival expressing spiritual cultural identity being preserved, preserved and promoted by fishermen in Quynh Luu sea area.            According to custom, the fisherman's praying festival was previously held on the 6th and 7th of the first lunar month. But due to current conditions, the festival is no longer mandatory and fixed in terms of date and time.           This is a festival with an ancient tradition, the origin of which is very little known, has been lost for nearly 50 years. Therefore, in order to re-organize this festival, today, officials and people of Son Hai commune have had to spend a lot of effort researching and collecting materials at some other festivals to gradually upgrade and perfect, giving the fisherman's praying festival its own mark and characteristics. The festival consists of two main parts, the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony includes the inauguration ceremony, the announcement ceremony, the the fisherman's praying ceremony, the great sacrifice ceremony, the thanksgiving ceremony at the palanquin procession places such as Trung communal house, Thoi temple, Monument, Thanh Son pagoda.
